Visions of Bioenergy – Bringing Local Initiatives to Brussels

Come and hear about Europe’s visions of bioenergy, from both the institutional and the grassroots perspectives. Organised by AEBIOM, in the frame of the BioRES project, Visions of Bioenergy – Bringing Local Initiatives to Brussels gives you the opportunity to discover, first-hand, a range of concrete, local projects that have transformational and far-reaching regional benefits.
Participants will have the chance to visit one of these projects, an Austrian BLTC, through a total immersion in a 360° video. It’ll be like travelling to the place…

Training Seminar for Woody Biomass
BGBIOM participate in a meeting of the stakeholders of the project RES H/C Spread on 21.01.2016 in Kardzhali.
The members of BGBIOM participated in the discussion of the results of the project – the potential of renewable energies for heating and cooling in the EU and promoting the use of these energy sources and technologies with creating Renewable Energy Action Plans in municipalities in Rhodope region in Bulgaria.
Additionally, BGBIOM presented their current projects:
- Improved Nutrient and Energy Management through Anaerobic Digestion – INEMAD
- Uptake of solid bioenergy in European commercial sectors (industry, trade, agricultural and service sectors) – Bioenergy for business (Bioenergy4Business)
- BioRES– Sustainable Regional Supply Chains for Woody Bioenergy
As a part of the seminar, the participants were trained for benefits of using local renewable energy sources and marketing models and concepts for Biomass Logistic and Trade Centres (BLTCs) as a part of BioRES project.

B4B and BioRES joint seminar in Plovdiv
A joint seminar for two EC H2020 funded projects, in which BGBIOM is active participant, take place on 17.10.2015 in hotel Expo in Plovdiv. The first part include presentation of the projects Bioenergy4Business and BioRES and the second parallel discussions on the main topics and goals of the projects.

Проектът BioRES (Sustainable Regional Supply Chains for Woody Bioenergy) е финансиран по програмата Хоризонт 2020 на Европейския съюз. Проектът има за цел да представи на заинтересованите в България, Сърбия и Хърватско иновативната концепция за “Центрове за логистика и търговия с Биомаса” (BLTC – Biomass Logistic and Trade Centres), като се кооперира с лидерите в тази технология от Австрия, Финландия, Германия и Словения. Това ще помогне за повишаване и улесняване на използването на дървесна биомаса (дървесен чипс, дървесни пелети, дървесни брикети, пресована слама и отпадъци от земеделието) в тези страни и ще допринесе до изпълнението на директивата за ВЕИ на Европейската комисия (2009/28/EC). В проектът участват 9 организации от 8 страни (DE, BE, AT, FI, SI, HR, RS, BG).

Along with the new website, the Logo and header for the project was launched.
